In this second book, the drama is hotter, the romances are steamier, and the stakes are even higher.First Thoughts:This is the much anticipated second book in the Bloodlines series… and let me tell you that it is AMAZING! I first met a lot of these characters in the Vampire Academy series, and they are all just as amazing when I read about them in Bloodlines. Even before I read this book I was excited for the next book in the series! The Main Character:Sydney is I think my favorite character from any book that I have read. She is strong, but still vulnerable. She is super loyal, but that loyalty sometimes causes her to overthink things. She is smart, but not smart alecky… oh man I could go on and on she is just amazing! Love is in the Air:Adrian - *sigh* the most perfect book boyfriend ever! Ok so maybe Sydney kind of had a different love interest in the book, but I honestly cant remember his name (and I am not just saying that to be funny) but know one else even compares when it is so OBVIOUS how in love Adrian is with Sydney. Ending:Super sad! Omg I almost wanted to start crying! Adrian totally lays everything out on the table, but Sydney doesn’t know how to handle it... therefore handles it very very badly! The amount of hearts that were broken in the last chapter almost did me in too! Final Thoughts:AMAZING book! If you haven’t started reading this series yet… START NOW! I would also recommend reading Vampire Academy if you havnt yet, not because you need to in order to know whats going on in this series… but just because that is another fantastic series!
